Course Design Institute 2022

The CTL Course Design Institute (CDI) is a multi-day workshop that provides Stanford faculty and lecturers with a collaborative environment in which to design a new course—or modify an existing course—optimized for student inclusion, learning, and engagement.

CDI will run September 7 to September 9, 2022. Due to limited spaces, admission is by application only by 5 p.m. PDT on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Transforming the Learning Experience for all Students

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has been serving the Stanford community  since 1975, offering a portfolio of programs and services to advance teaching and learning.  We support evidence-based and inclusive learning and teaching practices, educational programs and training, community building, and strong collaborations and partnerships with schools, departments, and other offices. 

CTL can help you advance your teaching and ensure the quality of educational experiences for all of your students. We facilitate the development of teaching expertise and learner-centered approaches in teaching, and we support rigorous and thoughtful ongoing assessment and feedback to improve learning outcomes.
