This group project prompts students to evaluate AI models using methods like those that would be imposed on AI models outlined in actual policy proposals.

CS Assignment (Group project)

Description

You will conduct both interactive red-teaming and automated evaluation of AI model(s) to get hands-on experience with the kinds of evaluation regimes that many policy proposals would impose on AI model developers as a condition of licensing, voluntary certifications, or as a condition of certain benefits such as government contracting. You should reflect on what we can learn about models from these evaluation regimes, their practical feasibility, and what their limitations are for ensuring safe, fair, and trustworthy AI.
