In these learning goals, instructor Gerui Wang lays the groundwork for a class in which students create images and short films with AI in order to understand the strengths, the shortcomings, and the racial biases of this technology. You can also explore an example assignment from "Art Meets AI." This course and the online exhibit that students created were featured in this article.

- Analyze major mediums, practices, and artists in contemporary East Asian art and integrate decolonial approaches to art history and area studies.
