Ready to join your peers for a solid work session?
Having trouble motivating yourself to just sit down and work already?
Make real progress on your academic goals with the aid of peer academic coaches! Whether you are preparing for your qualifying exams, writing your dissertation, or developing mastery over your coursework, this event offers accountability and a sense of community, particularly for students living off-campus. We hope to see you at our Virtual Study Halls!
Virtual Study Halls provide you with a conducive, quiet working space, with peers, goal-setting and academic consulting (on-demand) to help you progress on your academic work and achieve your goals. A Peer Academic Coach will be on hand to address any questions you may have on time management, reading and writing strategies, managing research workload, or any other related questions you might have! Please register to receive the zoom link.
What you'll find at the Virtual Study Halls:
- 2 one-hour study blocks
- Community-building activities such as setting SMART goals, accountability partner activity, and a group mini-coaching
- No fines for no shows
- Periodic check-ins to make sure you are on track to reach your goals
Virtual Study Halls are OPEN to any and all Stanford Graduate students. Students on a flex term or leave of absence are also eligible to attend these study halls.
