We at the Center for Teaching and Learning are committed to supporting and promoting effective teaching and learning across the entire Stanford community.

Since much of our work with the Stanford teaching and learning community occurs through interactive workshops and group discussions, we formulate the following commitments for ourselves and encourage the following community commitments among our participants.

Our commitments

We are here to cultivate a collaborative learning environment that values all perspectives, experiences, and contributions. We will do our best to meet you where you are in your learning, support you in making progress towards learning goals, and create an accessible and equitable space where you can learn with others, feel supported and valued, and thrive. We will also provide avenues for you to give us anonymous feedback on your experiences so that we can continue improving.

Your commitments

We request that you work with us in creating a supportive, collaborative environment in which all participants can share, ask questions, and learn. We ask that you help us by informing us in advance of accommodations and any other actions we can take to improve your learning experience, and by giving us feedback on your experiences so we can keep improving.

Questions or comments

If you have questions or comments about these community commitments, please contact us at ctl-stanford@stanford.edu.
