The Teaching Advancement Grants are offered on a rolling basis in amounts up to $2500. They are available to Stanford faculty, lecturers, students, instructional teams, and departments. These one-time grants are meant to fund projects that serve as springboards for the exploration, design, and implementation of new or improved pedagogical approaches in courses and educational programs that incorporate IDEAL values to support learning for Stanford students.

Curriculum Transformation Seed Grants

The Curriculum Transformation Project is a seed funding opportunity, currently spanning the three undergraduate schools, supported by VPUE and the deans of the School of Humanities and Sciences, the School of Engineering, and the Doerr School of Sustainability. This opportunity enables instruction teams to work efficiently with education professionals to make substantive and sustainable improvements to existing or new curriculum. Projects focused on making introductory courses more equitable and accessible for all students are strongly welcomed.

iPads for Teaching and Learning

The iPads for Teaching and Learning program investigates the use of iPads can potentially impact teaching, learning, and research when applied in the service of specific goals. Each quarter the program committee supports a select number of Stanford faculty and instructor proposals that demonstrate the potential to make a contribution to Stanford's understanding of using iPads to support teaching, learning, and research.
