The Center for Teaching & Learning's Academic Technology Solutions Lab (ATSL) is a resource center for faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants interested in using academic technology to improve teaching, learning, and research.

iPads for Teaching and Learning
iPads are awarded to selected faculty in support of their teaching and research projects. Free yourself from your laptop when you lecture and digitally ink your presentations in real time.
Poll Everywhere provides faculty with an audience response system that can support active learning in the classroom. Conduct polls in real time or assess student understanding anonymously.
Academic Technology Check-Out
The ATSL Lab has technologies that can be checked out and evaluated by faculty and instructors. Equipment includes iPad Pros, Microsoft Surface 6, Oculus Quest, Double Robotics II, etc.
Canvas is a Learning Management System that delivers courses to the Stanford community and integrates Gradescope, Panopto, Harmonize and other approved Learning Technology Integrations.
With Gradescope paper-based assignments can be scanned, analyzed and quickly graded with a rubric to provide feedback to students on common problems. Available now on Canvas.
Panopto for Video
Panopto is a video capture and delivery platform available to any teaching team. Integrated with single sign-on via the Canvas Learning Management System.
Slack for Group Communications
UIT-sponsored Slack Grid allows teams within Stanford to have separate, but connected, workspaces across the university. Individuals and groups can chat live online and keep conversations organized and accessible.
