Using technology in your teaching presents great opportunities as well as challenges. How do you decide when a particular technology might make things more efficient, or facilitate more student learning? How can you know if the the technologies you're using are working? This workshop will provide a broad overview of useful technologies for teaching, both for TAs leading sections as well as for those who are designing their own courses. We'll address strategies for using course websites, discussion boards, wikis, and other tools. We'll also talk about using PowerPoint and other presentation software in your teaching.
