Connecting with Today's Stanford Students
Monday, May 19, 3:15 - 4:45 pm
Sweet Hall, Room 403 (Map)

Today's students are using a variety of media and technology to complement their everyday lives. How can instructors capitalize on their multi-media world in and out of the classroom? In this workshop, we will address how today's students have changing needs and how multi-media techniques can be used to strengthen the connections between instructor and student goals. We will be highlighting YouTube, blogs, Second Life, social networking sites (Facebook) and Personal Response Systems.
