What if I get an "Access Denied" error message when I try to login?
1. How do I make an appointment with a tutor?

- Log into TutorTrac
through Stanford WebAuth.
- On the top menu bar, hover over the Go To… button and selected Make Appointment from the drop
down menu.
- The link takes you to a page where you can search for the availability of tutoring for a given subject for given
range of days. After entering the desired information, click the Search button.
- The page will refresh, and under Search Results a list is populated with Tutors' availability for the days you
selected in the subject you requested.
- Under the Availability column select the time slot you prefer. Individual appointments are indicated by an “I”.
- You will be directed to a page that confirms your name and appointment information. After reviewing that information and
entering any additional notes you may wish the Tutor to see before your appointment, click the Save Appointment button.
- This takes you back to your main log-in page.
- To confirm that you have correctly scheduled your appointment, look under the section titled Here are your upcoming
appointments and you should see the appointment information.

2. Where can I find drop-in tutoring hours?

- Follow steps 1 through 4 in the above section.
- Under the Availability column, you will see drop-in hours listed in bold with a “D” in front of them.
- Simply take note of the location of the drop-in hours and visit during the listed time. There is no need to sign up for a drop-in session.
3. How can I contact my tutor?
- If you are searching for availability in TutorTrac, you can click on the Tutor's Name
- If you are not searching for availability, go to the Tutor Bios page.
- Find your tutor and click on his or her name.
- At the bottom of his or her bio, you will see an email address.

4. How can I cancel my appointment?
Within 12 hours of the appointment, e-mail your tutor directly. (See above for how to contact your tutor.)
With 12 hours or more advanced notice...
- Go to TutorTrac.
- Click on the appointment you want to cancel.
- At the bottom of the appointment details you will see a button to "delete" this appointment. Your tutor will
receive an email letting him or her know that the appointment has been cancelled.
5. What if I get an "Access Denied" error message when I try to login?
Delete your cookies, close your browser, and try again.
To delete your cookies:
- Go to the "Tools" menu in your browser.
- Select "Options" or "Internet Options".
- Find the tab or page about cookies and select "Delete Cookies" or "Clear Cookies".
