Oral Communication Tutor (OCT) Support for Undergraduates

What is an OCT?

Whether students are working on oral presentations, preparing for job interviews, learning to use PowerPoint, or overcoming speech anxiety, Oral Communication Tutors (OCTs) can offer valuable feedback and advice. OCT appointments and drop-in hours are held in Sweet Hall and are free and open to all Stanford students.

How can I work with an OCT?

To cancel or change OCT appointments:

Cancellations must be made by 6:00 p.m. the day before your appointment.
Log in to the scheduling system.
Click on "My Control Panel" and look under "My Reservations."
Click "Delete" (far right) for the the appointment you wish to cancel.
Click "Delete (bottom left) in the pop-up window.
You will receive an email confirmation when you schedule or delete an appointment.
