Thomas Freeland received his B.F.A. and M.A. degrees in Theatre from the University of Colorado and his Ph.D. in drama from Stanford University, where he wrote a dissertation on Buffalo Bill Cody and his Wild West Show as a performance spectacle of American national identity. After teaching Voice, Acting, and Dramatic Literature at Oberlin College, he is how a lecturer in CTL's Oral Communication Program. Leading workshops and providing individual coaching in vocal technique and public speaking. When he is not busy helping students explore the range of sounds they can make with their voices, Tom enjoys making other kinds of noise with his electric guitar.
