Jeremy Sabol holds a B.A. in both Physics and Literature, and he received a Ph.D. in French from Yale University. His dissertation, entitled “Fables of Knowledge: Descartes and Seventeenth-Century Epistemological Fiction,” focused on the relationship between Cartesian natural philosophy and early modern fiction. Jeremy’s research interests are in early modern literature and philosophy, and existentialism. In addition to helping faculty and TAs with integrating technology into their teaching, Jeremy also lectures in the Structured Liberal Education (SLE) Program, and teaches philosophy in Stanford Continuing Studies.

Jeremy and his wife, Carrie Paff, live in San Francisco, a short CalTrain ride away from Stanford. They spend their time cooking, eating, and reading Homer out loud.
